The latest status on our SIM card delivery is that we can still provide customers with order deliveries within SLA (Service Level Agreement). We are in close contact with our vendor and warehouse in order to keep apprised of the latest updates. The current situation is stable, and we will continue to monitor our supply chain to ensure we maintain full capability from order placed to order delivered.
In some exceptional cases the logistical impacts can trigger certain delays and the need for partial deliveries of our products, although the status in logistical areas is on a very good level.
We will continue to follow the situation and keep you informed of any important changes.
Brexit
On the first of January 2021 Brexit will come into effect and the UK will become a country operating outside of the European Union.
Sending a shipment from the EU to the UK after the 1st of January will require a customs declaration, and every order sent by Tele2 IoT to the UK will have a commercial invoice attached.
Additionally, customers in the UK should consider following:
- Customers In UK needs to apply for a EORI number https://www.gov.uk/eori
- Transit times may change. We don’t have more specific information on transit times, but larger shipping companies are expecting a delay due to new procedures
- Rates and additional surcharges could change as a result of customs handling.
