IoT: From Hype to Reality
Article
It has been 8 years since the Internet of Things (IoT) entered the Gartner Hype cycle, and five years since it peaked. Today, as we look to 2020, forecasts have changed, as have expectations. But while many other hyped technologies have crashed and burned, this isn’t the case with IoT. Instead, IoT has proven its value, becoming a critical and strategic element for any company looking to optimize and grow their business.
IoT Talks 2019 reflected on where we are now and where we are heading, with a realistic eye on both. With the focus firmly on putting both current and potential usecases in the spotlight, speakers focused on technological developments, market-related topics, customer success stories, and how IoT can simplify a business’s processes.
This was a reality-based event, designed to give you the knowledge and tools you need to successfully implement and utilize IoT with a mature outlook.
