Rami Avidan, CEO of Tele2 IoT, will leave Tele2 as of September 28th, after six years with the company.
Rami joined Tele2 with the goal to build a global IoT business. Over the past 6 years Rami has done just that through delivering consistently strong commercial results and an exciting product portfolio and roadmap. Rami will leave Tele2 IoT to pursue other interests outside of the company.
Rami Avidan comments: “I am very proud of what we at Tele2 IoT have achieved together. We have built a strong driven team that is set up to deliver significant customer value. We have all worked extremely hard during these years and I could not be prouder of the commercial and technical results that the IoT team has achieved. We have truly made a big impact on the IoT industry and beyond. On the back of the strong organisation that we’ve built, and the business over-performing on the targets that we originally set out, I feel confident that it is the right time to move on to new exiting things in my professional career.”
Allison Kirkby, Group President and CEO of Tele2, comments: “I want to thank Rami for his entrepreneurial spirit, clear vision, dedication and his leadership. Rami should be extremely proud of the legacy that he leaves behind and I wish him the best of luck in his future adventures.”
Rami will leave Tele2 on September 28th and Ingrid Wistrand, currently Deputy CEO, will assume the position of acting CEO of Tele2 IoT on the same date.
