Ingrid Wistrand to leave Tele2 IoT. A new CEO will assume the CEO position on the 11th of June 2019.

Ingrid Wistrand, acting CEO and co-founder of Tele2 IoT, has chosen to leave Tele2 after nearly nine years with the company. A new CEO has been recruited and will assume the position on the 11th of June. The name of the new CEO will be communicated shortly.

Ingrid joined Tele2 in 2010, and during the last six years her main focus has been to establish and grow Tele2’s IoT business as Managing Director (shared leadership), deputy CEO, and most recently as acting CEO of Tele2 IoT. Ingrid has now chosen to leaveTele2 for her next career challenge.

Ingrid Wistrand comments, “After almost nine years in the company – building up an IoT business from scratch, delivering strong growth, and seeing the customer base and partner eco-system expand – it is time for me to move on. Tele2 IoT has a bright future ahead, and I am looking forward to following company as it continues on its great journey.”

Guillaume van Gaver, Group EVP International at Tele2, says, “I want to thank Ingrid for all the great accomplishments over her years at Tele2 and Tele2 IoT. It is sad she is leaving us, of course, but I wish her the best of luck. I am now looking forward to continuing success with the new CEO.”

Johan Ragnevad, Strategy Director Tele2 IoT, will manage the company until the new CEO is in place the 11th of June.
